Decorating is the trade people judge everything else by. It is also the one where the difference between a good job and a cheap one only shows up a year later, at the edges.
Preparation is most of the job
We fill, caulk and sand before a brush touches the wall, use the correct primer for the substrate, and cut in by hand. Two coats means two coats.
Woodwork gets prepared and undercoated rather than glossed straight over, which is why it still looks right after a few years of doors being slammed. Where plaster is cracked or blown, we make it good first — painting over a moving surface just buys you a few months.
Exteriors and specialist finishes
Outside, timing and product matter more than technique: masonry paint on a damp wall or gloss in direct sun will fail whatever you paid for it. We work to the weather and use breathable coatings on older properties.
We also spray finish kitchens, doors and built-in furniture where a brushed finish would show, and hang everything from lining paper to heavy patterned and hand-printed wallpapers.

We can, at trade prices, or you can buy your own and we'll apply it. If you're supplying, we'll give you exact quantities so you don't run short halfway through a wall — a second batch rarely matches.
Water-based emulsion is touch-dry within hours and the room is usable the same evening. Oil-based woodwork needs longer and will smell for a day or two. We'll tell you which rooms are out of action and for how long before we start.
